This month, we’ve loving all things ceramic and glass. What better way to decorate your home or your apartment than with unique and original works of art that are also functional? This month, we’re sharing awesome ceramicists, gorgeous glass, ways that you can decorate with ceramic tile and more! Stay tuned this month for great DIYs and more ways to use Genue to create your own ceramic pieces! But first, here are the ceramics, glass, and artists we love this month…

Chloe May Brown: Chloe May Brown is a ceramicist based in Portland, ME and her designs are exceedingly gorgeous. Featuring stripes, lines, and dots, I’d love to use one of her bowls to hold jewelry on my dresser or use a pretty vase to fill with pretty summer blooms.

The Japanese studio Nendo: Equally cool and chic, Nendo, Grace Quah writes, has “created a range of porcelain with patterns that play on archival designs from a traditional Japanese pottery.” Read more about the studio’s collaboration and creative process!

The Ceramics of Bat Trang: This small town in Vietnam isn’t as small as it seems – it’s creating tons of incredible pottery. We loved learning more about the town and its ceramics making processes.

Decorating with Ceramic Tile: The Glitter Guide rounded up 9 designers and their tips for decorating with ceramic tile, and their favorite brands! What home projects do you have that could use some sprucing with ceramic tile?

Blenko Glass: Featured on the Grommet, take a peek at these colorful and unique glass products. How pretty would these look on a patio filled with flowers or a fruity summer drink?
